Professional Profile
Ms. Snyder received her BBA/MPA from West Texas A&M University in 2004 and became a licensed CPA in 2007. She began her career in public accounting as a tax accountant and auditor. She later held accounting positions for a not-for-profit organization, within the healthcare industry and eventually became the controller of an oil and gas company. She joined the faculty in 2026 and now brings her professional experience into the classroom. Ms. Snyder is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Teaching and Related Service
Ms. Snyder teaches Principles of Financial Accounting and Principles of Managerial Accounting.
Research and Creative Activity
Ms. Snyder’s research interests include the application of accounting concepts to real-world business situations, taxation, auditing and forensic accounting.
Personal Sketch
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and their standard poodle, Winslow.
