Buff Connections

Buff Connections includes a network of individuals on campus who are committed and available to provide students with a personal and trustworthy contact.  Our mission is to empower former foster youth, orphans, and wards of the court or homeless students to utilize available support systems and resources resulting in a successful college experience.  If you need assistance, we are here to help!

Do you know your Strengths?

West Texas A&M University is becoming a strengths-based campus.  We are focusing on building each student’s individual talents into strengths…and becoming BUFFSTRONG.  Visit our StrengthsQuest webpage for details.

Get connected with a mentor

Transitioning to college life can be very difficult. Sometimes, we don't know who to ask for help or what kind of help is out there.  Our mentors will help you obtain knowledge of campus and community resources, learn about campus organizations, understand the education process, encourage college success, and provide a trusting relationship.  If you are interested in being paired with a mentor, please fill out this survey and return to Michael Crippen CC 110F in the Student Success Center or email to mcrippen@wtamu.edu.
