Statement

The information system monitors and controls communications at the external boundary of the information system and at key internal boundaries within the system.

Applicability

The intended audience for this Control includes all information resource owners, custodians, and users of information resources

Implementation

Incoming communications restrictions shall be configured using country-based or IP-based blocking to restrict incoming traffic from countries on the TAMUS Blocked Countries list, or in order to meet other regulatory requirements.
