Statement

West Texas A&M University will conduct tests of the incident response plan. 

Applicability

This Control applies to all West Texas A&M network information resources. The intended audience for this Control includes all information resource owners, custodians, and users of information resources.

Implementation

• A formal test of the University Incident Response plan shall be conducted annually, as required by DIR. Testing includes, but is not limited to the use of checklists, walk-through or tabletop exercises, and simulations.
• Issues or concerns found during the test shall be documented and used for improvement of the plan.
