Statement

WTAMU shall implement federated credentials to authenticate individuals and devices when conducting cross-organization activities involving the processing, storage, or transmission of information.

Applicability

This Control applies to all West Texas A&M network information resources. The intended audience for this Control includes all information resource owners, custodians, and users of information resources.

Implementation

WTAMU shall use the TAMUFederation and InCommon Federation to provide authentication methods for cross-organizational activities.
