Statement

West Texas A&M University will conduct proper contingency plan testing for information systems as needed.

Applicability

This Control applies to all West Texas A&M network information resources. The intended audience for this Control includes all information resource owners, custodians, and users of information resources.

Implementation

Appropriate testing of the contingency plan will be conducted at least annually.

At least once every three (3) years on-premise mission critical systems shall be tested with a full interruption.

A formal report detailing the results will be prepared including lessons learned. Updates to the plan that are needed will be made at that time.
