The Office of Information Technology (OIT), a service organization, promotes, supports and facilitates the University mission of teaching, research and service through the efficient and effective use of technology to maximize student, faculty and staff success.
- Expand the opportunities for quality higher education to geographically dispersed populations.
- Enhance the productivity, effectiveness and efficiency of University faculty. staff and students through the effective use of information technologies.
- Provide students, faculty and staff with access to facilities, equipment, systems and support in order to facilitate the achievement of the University mission.
- Provide adequate security, disaster recovery and business continuation systems and procedures to protect the electronically generated and stored assets of WTAMU.
