Professional Profile

Kassi Gregory joined the Department of Psychology, Sociology, and Social Work in 2023. She obtained her B.S. degree in Psychology from West Texas A&M University in 2007, Specialist in School Psychology from West Texas A&M University in 2011, and Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with a specialization in School Psychology from Texas Tech University in 2023. She is a School Psychologist in Texas.

Teaching and Related Service

Dr. Gregory teaches professional seminar in school psychology, psychological interventions, and school psychology internship.

She has been a school psychologist in public schools for over a decade. Dr. Gregory is a member of the Texas Association of School Psychologists (TASP), the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), and the Social Emotional Learning Alliance for Texas (SEL4TX). She serves on the executive TASP board.

Research and Creative Activity

Dr. Gregory’s research interests include understanding the relationship between aggression, secondary traumatic stress, and burnout in public educators while amplifying educators’ voices in research. As a Parent-Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT), Dr. Gregory wants to pursue services to children and families while expanding on the robust literature establishing PCIT as an evidence-based intervention for Texas Panhandle children and their families.
