Buff Branding FAQ

 

Do I need to register for Buff Branding?  

No, you do not need to register to attend. We are ready for the ENTIRE incoming class to join the fun and experience all Buff branding events. Check in any time from 8:00am-5:00pm on Thursday, August 17, in the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership (JBK 103) or your residence hall.

I am a transfer student, can I attend Buff Branding?

Yes! All new transfer students are also invited to participate in Buff Branding. 

Is there a cost for Buff Branding? 

No, there is no additional cost for Buff Branding. The $140 Orientation Fee covers expenses for both New Student Orientation and Buff Branding.

Where do I check-in for Buff Branding?

You'll receive your name tag and lanyard at your residence hall check-in. If you are a commuter, you can check-in at the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership, JBK 103. Check-in will be open from 8:00am-5:00pm on Thursday, August 17th. 


What if I want to move in early?

Early arrivals are only permitted if there is an academic need or a University-sponsored obligation the resident needs to fulfill (for example, student athletes and marching band members). If an early arrival is permitted, an early occupancy charge may apply. Please direct early move-in questions to the Office of Residential Living, 806-651-3000.
