  • A 1000-word technical paper describing evidence based practice and how it has shaped the profession of speech-language pathology
  • Three letters of recommendation in a signed and sealed envelope.

Counseling (School) (M.Ed.)

Nursing (M.S.N.)

  • Verification of an active, unrestricted RN licensure in the state in which practica will be completed.
  • Minimum of 3.0 G.P.A with no grade below "C" for the last 60 hours
  • Completion of a basic statistics course with a grade "C" or higher
  • Verification of current CPR certification and required immunizations, including Hepatitis B 
  • For the Family Nurse Practitioner role, prospective students must have verification of at least two years of recent clinical practice as an RN
  • For all MSN students, a proctored analytical writing submission will be administered prior to the application deadline.  Contact dmoore@wtamu.edu for an appointment for the writing activity when the above application requirements are met
  • Deadlines: April 1 (Fall) and November 1 (Spring)
  • Due to the number of online classes required for the M.S.N., this program is not available to international students studying on a student visa.
