What happens to my application once I push submit?

  1. Application is received by Texas Common Application system.
  2. In 2-3 business days application is received at West Texas A&M University.
  3. Student receives acknowledgement e-mail with student (Buff ID) number.
  4. Student receives e-mail with list of required documents.
  5. Student submits required documents.
  6. When file is complete, it is reviewed for admission.
  7. Admission or denial is granted in accordance to admission requirements.
  8. If denied, student receives denial letter.
  9. If admitted, student will receive electronic (e-mail) acceptance letter.
  10. Upon receipt of financial documents, student will receive I-20 form for Visa application.
