Scholarships

West Texas A&M University awards approximately $4 million each year in scholarships to new and continuing students, with the average award totaling $1,200 per year. Students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership and special talent are considered for University scholarships. Financial need may be a consideration. The scholarship application for fall 2012 and spring 2013 is now available.  Students should apply early to ensure full consideration for an award.

INCOMING freshman APPLICATION

Although the February 1 priority date has passed, applications will continue to be accepted.  Awards will be made based on the availability of funds. 

                          Notification of awards by May 1, 2012 or earlier.

                                                    
INCOMING TRANSFER, GRADUATE OR CONTINUING STUDENT APPLICATION

                          Notification of awards by May 1, 2012 or earlier for transfer students.

                          Notification of awards by July 1, 2012 or earlier for graduate and continuing students.
