Douglas Storey currently serves as Assistant Professor of Clarinet at West Texas A&M University. He is also principal clarinetist in the Amarillo Symphony Orchestra and the Randel Chamber Orchestra in Amarillo. He holds degrees from the University of Michigan and the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music.
Mr. Storey was a member of the faculty at Texas A&M University in Kingsville for five years prior to coming to WTAMU and also served as clarinetist with the Corpus Christi Symphony. He has performed with the Oklahoma City, Flint (Michigan), Toledo (Ohio) and Kansas City Symphonies. In addition to his orchestral experience, Mr. Storey is a member of the WTAMU Faculty Jazz Quintet and is an active freelance musician in the Southwest and Midwest.
