WTAMU Theatre Partners with PPHM in ‘Peter and the Starcatcher’ Production

CANYON, Texas—An interesting look at the Peter Pan story will play out through a unique partnership between West Texas A&M University’s theatre program and the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum in a production of Peter and the Starcatcher at the museum’s Hazlewood Lecture Hall.

Performances for this special 70-minute version of the family-oriented comedy are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Jan. 24 and Jan. 25. Several performances are scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 26—10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.—and the final show is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27. Guests are asked to use the museum’sScene from Peter and the Starcatcher back/north entrance for the evening performances.

Peter and the Starcatcher is a prequel to the Peter Pan Adventure and tells how Peter Pan came to be, where the Lost Boys came from and how Hook got his name.
