Cornette Library Invites Faculty Members of West Texas A&M University to present their recent research – whether published or submitted for publication in a journal or in book/chapter format or in a multi-media/digital format or presented or submitted for presentation at a conference – on Thursday, March 7, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in Cornette Library.

This Poster Session and Research Fair provides a forum for WTAMU faculty members to present their current research in an informal and interactive setting. It is an excellent venue for recipients of Killgore Grants to share their research with the WTAMU community, and it offers a unique opportunity for faculty to engage in discussions with colleagues and students.

Poster exhibits should pertain to research published in a peer-reviewed journal, book, multi-media/digital presentation, or presented at a conference since 2015, or research in progress. Posters will be displayed in Cornette Library’s 1st floor gallery. Poster participants will be allotted a 4’ wide by 6’ high display space; handouts will be accommodated. If your research has been published in book format, you are welcome to bring a copy of the book.

Multi-media/digital presentations will be presented in the Library’s Lecture Room. Multi-media/digital presentations will take place in the Lecture Room with each presenter allotted 15 minutes. A schedule of presentations will be available for both presenters and those who wish to see the presentations; this schedule will be available before the event.

Refreshments will be served at the event.

  • Submit an abstract of your research. Abstracts for research in progress should include the topic, data-collection methodology, and expected findings.
  • A bibliographic citation should be included for research that has been published.
  • Submit a physical description of your exhibit.
