 When is the last day I can drop a class?

For dates for the current semester please refer to the university calendar which can be found on our University Calendar page.

 I have taken a few semesters off. What do I need to do to get into classes?

You will need to reapply to the college. Former WTAMU students who are returning to complete the undergraduate degree they started may complete EZ Re-Entry Application.  It’s a short form that takes only a couple of minutes and there is no new application fee to pay. 

 I am looking for a part-time job.  Where can I find part-time job listings?

To apply for a part-time job, check out Handshake on our student success website. Career Services also offers resume workshops to help you develop your resume to help find that job you are looking for.  You can also contact Career Services at 806-651-2345.  Career Services is located in the Student Success Center, CC113.

 I am struggling in my class.  Does WTAMU offer tutoring?

Yes, Educational Services offers a Tutoring Assistance Program.  They have online tutoring, walk-in tutor centers, pair/group tutoring and one-on-one tutoring.  To take advantage of one-on-one tutoring please complete the Tutor Request From online. For more information contact Educational Services at 806-651-2341 or on our Testing and Tutoring Services website.  Educational Services is located in the Student Success Center in CC108.

 I am struggling with a writing assignment.  Where can I go to get help?

You can go to the Writing Center.  They can help with any writing assignment for any class.  You can contact the Writing Center at 806-651-2473 or on our Writing Center website. The Writing Center is located in the Student Success Center, CC107.

 I am a dependent of a veteran.  Can I get tuition assistance?

Yes.  For more information contact Veterans Services at 806-651-4939 or go to our Veterans Services website. The Office of Veterans  Services is located in the Student Success Center, CC108.

 My friend studied abroad and I would like to as well.  Where can I find out more information      about studying abroad?

Contact the Office of Study Abroad at 806-651-5309 or go our Study Abroad website. The Office of Study Abroad is located in the Student Success Center, CC 115A.
