Green Belt  Green Belt

A Lean Six Sigma green belt will possess the basic knowledge of the Lean and Six Sigma methodology and tools. They will be able to introduce these ideologies to their respective work areas and lead small improvement projects. Green belts are capable of determining what data is needed for continuous improvement projects, help facilitate team meetings and calculate savings.

After completing 36 hours of class, candidates must demonstrate their knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma methodology by passing the 75 question green belt certification test with a 90% pass rate along with facilitating 3 projects. They must present complete documentation for all 3 projects in a professional portfolio to the Process Improvement Manager for their review. Once the 3 projects and the certification test has been completed, the candidate will receive their Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate.

Black Belt  Black Belt

A Lean Six Sigma black belt will possess the expert knowledge of the Lean and Six Sigma methodology and tools. They will be able to lead teams, streamline processes, reduce variation, and have a thorough understanding of the tools of Lean Six Sigma. Black Belts are responsible for project success along with completing cost analysis and basic statistical evaluations.

After completing 40 hours of class, candidates must demonstrate their knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma methodology by passing the 100 question, black belt certification test with a 85% pass rate along with facilitating 7 additional projects. They must present complete documentation for all 7 projects in a professional portfolio to the Process Improvement Manager for their review. Once the 7 projects and the certification test have been completed, the candidate will receive their Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate.

Master Black Belt 

 Master Black Belt

Master black belts must be certified black belts and have 10 black belt projects completed before certification as a Master black belt. The candidate's body of work is reviewed for mentoring, teaching and coaching abilities as well as technical experience and knowledge. They must have 40 hours of in class triaining

Workshop

This workshop is for those who don't want to take the standard 40 hour training for a certification in Six Sigma, but want to learn the proven concepts of LEAN in a 2 day workshop. Learn quick and easy tools to maximize your employee potential, streamline your processes, expand your ability to detect wastes that are costing you time and money and find out ways to make your workplace more efficient. This workshop will enable you to start making "small changes for the better" almost immediately! These workshops will be offered once every two months. You will not receive certification with this workshop.
