2012 TMEA & CBDNA Performances

The WTAMU Symphonic Band was selected to perform at the 2012 Texas Music Educators Association in February, and the 2012 College Band Directors National Association Southwest Regional Convention in March. Out of the twenty-three ensembles that submitted recordings for the 2012 CBDNA Southwest Convention only seven were selected to perform . This was the Symphonic Band’s thirteenth appearance at the Texas Music Educators Association. This is a record among university bands in the state of Texas.

2013 Buffalo Marching Band Parents' Day

Marching Band at Halftime

Each year, the members of the Buffalo Band invite their friends and families to our annual Parents’ Day Luncheon. Date and prices have not yet been determined, but it’s somewhere around $15 per person. You can also get football tickets for the game that evening at a reduced rate. We’ll have lunch with President O’Brien and some senior admin types, hear from our directors, and probably see a video of what you went though in Early Band. Then your friends and families get to see what you’ve accomplished so far during the halftime show. We’ll send information via snail mail to the families of anyone who has registered for
MUEN 1026/3026.
