Professional Profile

Jeff joined the Sports and Exercise Science Department in Fall 2012. He received a B.S. in Physical Education in Physical Education from California State University Sacramento in 1992, an M.S. in Exercise Physiology emphasis in Biomechanics in 2002, and is currently A.B.D. in Biomechanics from Texas Woman’s University.

Teaching and Related Service

Jeff teaches SES 1301 Historical and Contemporary Issues in Sports, SES 2355 Theory and Practice of Non-Traditional Games, SES 2372 Philosophy of Coaching, SES 3356 Theory and Practice of Strength Training and Conditioning.

Research and Creative Activity

Jeff’s research interests include strength training as it pertains to increased function across a lifespan, which includes young athletes to senior adults.
