Professional Profile
Dr. Reyes has been a full-time faculty member since 1998. She became the undergraduate nursing coordinator in 2004 and was named head of the department in 2007. She received a baccalaureate degree in nursing and a Master of Science in nursing administration from West Texas A&M University. She received her doctorate in educational leadership at Liberty University.

Dr. Reyes has taught a variety of courses at the undergraduate and graduate level with community nursing as her primary specialty.
Dr. Reyes is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and is also a site visitor for the CCNE, the Commission for Collegiate Nursing Education.
Research and Creative Activity
Dr. Reyes is interested in student engagement and motivation in the classroom and in the clinical setting.
Dr. Reyes is married to her wonderful husband and is the mother of one son, one daughter, and grandmother to seven fabulous grandchildren. Her interests include music and Biblical studies.
