Rossitza Jekova-Goza joined the School of Music faculty in 2010 as first violinist of the Harrington String Quartet. At the same time she was appointed concertmaster of the Amarillo Symphony Orchestra. She holds a doctoral degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and master and bachelor (summa cum laude) degrees in violin performance from Louisiana State University.
Dr. Goza has served on the faculties of the Universities of Arkansas, Oklahoma, and North Texas. Summer teaching appointments include the prestigious Encore School for Strings, Oklahoma Arts Institute, Heber Springs Chamber Music Festival, and Schlern International Music Festival in Italy.
Currently, Dr. Goza also serves as concertmaster of the Tulsa Symphony, a position she enjoys since 2006. Previous concertmaster appointments include the Baton Rouge Symphony and the Verbier Festival Orchestra (Switzerland).
