Professional Profile

Dr. Rasco joined the College of Education and Social Sciences in 2016. He received a B.A. and M.A. in Psychology from Midwestern State University, and he earned an M.A. and Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of New Hampshire in 2013 and 2016, respectively.

Teaching and Related Service

Dr. Rasco teaches Social Psychology, Personality, and the JOY known as Statistics. He looks forward to developing courses on positive psychology (e.g., subjective well-being, happiness, life satisfaction) and how romantic relationships are developed and maintained.

Research and Creative Activity

Dr. Rasco’s primary areas of research include romantic relationships and subjective well-being. In particular, he is interested in how relationships can be improved so that individuals are more satisfied and happy in those relationships.

Dr. Rasco is also interested in improving teaching and learning outcomes through techniques such as test-enhanced learning and test-potentiated learning.
