Professional Profile
Melissa White began working at West Texas A&M University in 2014 and later joined the Paul and Virginia Engler College of Business in 2018 as the Coordinator for the Undergraduate Business Program. In 2021 she became the Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs. Graduating from WT with an undergraduate degree in 2011, she continued her education and received her MBA in 2014.
Teaching and Related Service
Ms. White teaches Business Ethics. Her current research interest involves industry ethical standards, management, and student recruitment with an emphasis in retention.
Research and Creative Activity
Ms. White’s research interest include financial planning, business education, and student retention.
Personal Sketch
Ms. White is an avid fan of WT and comes from a long-line of WT graduates. Her family boasts of 12 degrees that were all completed at WT. While she enjoys volunteering with numerous community organizations and her church, her biggest passion is spending time with her family.
