Professional Profile

Dr. Sukcharoen joined the Department of Agricultural Sciences in 2017. She received a B.A. in Economics from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, in 2008, an M.S. in Economics from the University of Warwick, UK, in 2009 and a Ph.D. in Agribusiness and Managerial Economics from Texas A&M University in 2017.

Teaching and Related Service

Dr. Sukcharoen teaches Quantitative Business Analysis in Agricultural and Environmental Economics, Advanced Agribusiness Management, and Advanced Management Techniques.

Dr. Sukcharoen has authored several publications and is a member of the American Agricultural Economics Association, American Economics Association, and Southern Agricultural Economics Association.

Research and Creative Activity

Dr. Sukcharoen’s research interests include risk management, production and investment decisions, price analysis, and statistical methods.

Personal Sketch

Dr. Sukcharoen is originally from Bangkok, Thailand. She likes to cook (usually Thai or Thai fusion food). She also love to travel. Having lived in Thailand, the Netherlands, UK, and US, she have had ample opportunities to travel to many different places. Backpacking through Europe is one of the most memorable experiences in her life.
