Cindy Otter, L.C.S.W.

Ms. Otter joined the College of Education and Social Sciences in 2010. She received a B.S. in psychology from Montana State University in 1986, and a master's of social work from University of Montana in 2005.
Teaching and Related Service
Ms. Otter teaches group processes; ethics, values, and religion; and human behavior in the social environment.
Ms. Otter has presented numerous trainings for foster and adoptive parents, educators, and mental health providers regarding child welfare.
Ms. Otter is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
Research and Creative Activity
Ms. Otter’s research interests include child welfare issues, addiction, and quality assurance within direct practice for children and families.
Personal Sketch Ms. Otter’s family recently moved to Texas from Wyoming. She was born in Montana, ‘Big Sky Country’. She loves the outdoors and enjoys golfing, hiking, biking, and photography. She is very excited to discover the treasures in West Texas.
