Diversity and Inclusion Innovations

Since 1910 West Texas A&M University, formerly West Texas State Normal College, has developed initiatives that connect faculty, students, staff, and community to provide local, regional, national, and world leadership that advance university innovations in diversity and equity, and that increase the university’s preparation for programming that would support future increases in Hispanic enrollment, African American enrollment, other ethnic and racial enrollment, first generation college students, and female students.

West Texas A&M University faculty and staff understand the importance of diversity and inclusion as critical components of higher education and University imperatives, goals, and action plans that will require more and different support services.

Faculty and Staff are encouraged to share innovations on diversity and inclusion.
