Staff Council COVID-19 Support Program
We are here to support WT staff members during this pandemic.

WT Staff Council has created a team to help staff members meet needs that arise due to COVID-19. Needs could include:

  • I am unable to physically pick-up grocery items.
  • I am overwhelmed and uncertain of emotional support resources available to me.
  • I need information about COVID-19 testing for WT employees.

Our intention is to provide a platform for those needs to be communicated and connect you with services that can help you meet the need.

Limitations

There may be needs that we can’t meet. This service is limited to WTAMU staff members only during a local COVID-19 outbreak. Funds are not currently available to meet financial needs or to pay for purchases made by the requestor. If a shelter-in-place situation arises, the service will be discontinued until the shelter-in-place order expires. The committee is able to assist with physical grocery deliveries as needed, but can't have any face-to-face interaction with a person or entry/contact with their home.
