Out on the road again. Junior high school concert band horns in Jarrett unit F. This is a 9 am class.

Mr. Sayger and some junior high school concert band euphoniums and tubas.

Here's the rest of them. It's hard to say which is the better side!

Some junior high school symphonic band saxophones.

Mrs. Gresens and her junior high school concert band trombones.

Mrs. Miller giving fingerings to junior high school symphonic band oboes.

Mr. Kennedy and his junior high school concert band trumpets buzzing.

More buzzing.

Another view. It still sounds the same to me. Doesn't it you?

Mr. Storie and the high school concert band woodwinds.

More of them.

I'm back over in Jarrett. I think this is the 10 o'clock junior high varsity band trumpets.

Whatever they were in the previous picture, here they are at a different angle.

Junior high school varsity band tubas.

And their tuba counterparts.

Junior high school varsity band percussion. They're in the cafeteria, upstairs. It's called the glass room.

The junior high school varsity band woodwind sectional. Mr. Montgomery is directing.

The clarinet section from the same band.

Now we're in the ballroom. See that equipment in the background. That's for the dances. It's really loud. The students must be hard of hearing if it has to be turned up that loud. This is the junior high school concert band brass sectional. Mr. Hanna is conducting, and Mr. Whitaker is assisting in the euphonium/tuba section.

Some more jh concert band members.

This is the mirror room. You can't see why it's named that, but trust me it is. This is the junior high school symphonic band.

More symphonic band. Mrs. Fletcher is conducting and Mrs. Streit is in the back helping a percusison student.

The audience's right side of the symphonic band.

I can't remember what hour I'm in, but this might be high school honor band tubas if it's 11 o'clock.

Yep. It's 11 o'clock. You can see by the angle of the sun. (Don't spend too much time trying to figure that out.)

Mr. McDaniel and high school white band saxophones.

The left side.

Some more. (I hope I got everyone.)

High school maroon band euphoniums and tuba.

I told you about offerings for visiting directors already, so here's Dr. Carpenter, WTAMU bassoon professor,  at the 11 o'clock instrument clinic.

Three o'clock high school assembly from the stage.

Some band campers wore their hat inside the recital hall. Mr. Gilley is making them take an oath that they won't d that again.

The Bonham junior high school twirlers performed.

The Nimitz junior high school twirlers.

It's hard to fotograf twirlers because they move so fast.

Then there was a contest between bands. Mr. Gilley called 10 campers from each band. He gave them a hulo hoop. They needed to hold hands an pass the hula hoop around the circle.
