Lord's Prayer/Our Father: Early Modern English

Our father which art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.  Thy will
be done, in earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we
forgive our debters.
And lead us not into temptation.
But deliver us from evil.

Lord's Prayer/Our Father: Present-Day English

Our father in heaven, we honor your holy name.  We ask that your kingdom will
come now.  May your will be done on earth, just as it is in heaven.  Give us
our food again today, as usual, and forgive us our sins, just as we forgive those who
have sinned against us.  Don't bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the Evil
One.  Amen
