Research Interests

Chemistry and nonlinear optical (NLO) properties of polymer and liquid crystal composites. Synthesis of NLO chromophores and polymers and their use in the construction of liquid crystal devices capable of holographic storage. Characterization of these devices by coherent optical wave mixing, signal and image processing.
