Academic Background


Biography

As Director of Choral Activities at West Texas A&M University, Dr. Hall conducts WT Chorale, Collegiate Choir, and Chamber Singers.  His teaching responsibilities include subjects such as conducting, choral arranging, private and group voice, and private composition.  He also oversees recruiting events such as WT's annual Panhandle High School Honor Choir and All-State Choir Camp. 

Dr. Hall’s compositions have been performed nationwide by groups such as the University of Miami Chorale and the combined choirs of Brigham Young University.   His works have been heard at various all-state festivals as well as national, regional and state music conventions.  His scores are published by Walton Music and Colla Voce Press.

As a performer, Dr. Hall has toured nationally and internationally with such groups as Brigham Young University Singers, University of Miami Chorale, and the Miami Bach Society.  He recently performed the leading roles of Colonel Ranald MacKenzie and John Grey in the 2004-05 seasons of the acclaimed outdoor musical drama: "Texas Legacies" in the Palo Duro Canyon Amphitheater.  Dr. Hall resides in Canyon, Texas with his wife Bonnie, and their four children, Elizabeth, Gale, Logan, and Lydia.
