Alumni Interviews Interviews with scholarship alumni and recently selected candidates. Students who compete for prestigious national scholarships come from all walks of American life. There is no "ideal" candidate. However, the students who are selected are all committed to their roles as outstanding leaders, scholars and citizens. They know it is possible to change the world or, at least, their corner of it.
