  • Looking for experience in your field? Many employers at the EXPO will be interested in visiting about internships or part-time jobs with their organizations.
  • Not really looking for employment right now? Come anyway! The employer representatives are here to answer your questions about their organizations and industries as well as the world of work.

Pre-Fair Reception

for Students classified as Juniors and above

Don't miss this unique opportunity to network with recruiters in town for the Career EXPO. This year's reception will provide you with 'basic training' for networking and then allow you the opportunity to practice these skills! Past participants unanimously state that attending the pre-fair reception made them more comfortable attending the job fair. This is a MUST-DO for anyone seeking an internship or within one year of graduation.

There is a 2-year rotation of professional development topics our employers will speak on at this event beginning this fall with "Marketable Skills" all college graduates should possess. You'll get information about how to include these skills you already possess on your resume, in an interview, and just during conversation in your job search.
Future semester themes will be Job Search Strategies, Career Management, and Things No One Told You.
