General Fair Information: CAREER EXPO 2013 will provide you with an opportunity to get acquainted with many WTAMU students who will soon be entering the job market or are seeking internship opportunities. In addition, undergraduate students from West Texas A&M University are encouraged to attend in order to research careers and to establish early contacts with businesses. We feel that this is a mutually beneficial contact for both the company and the student and are pleased to offer this opportunity. This event will allow WTAMU students a chance to learn more about your organization, your personnel needs, and the career paths you offer. Our faculty will be available for Employer/Faculty networking throughout the day.
Reception Details: Once again, we will host a networking reception the Wednesday evening before the EXPO to bring together employers, faculty and involved students. The reception is free to all company representatives!
LOCATION: JBK Student Center - Legacy Hall TIME: If your organization is a sponsor - 6:00 - 8:30 PM; If your organization is not a sponsor - 7:00 - 8:30 PM
Be sure to RSVP as you register letting us know how many of your recruiters will be able to attend, so we will have an accurate food count. Please contact EJ Ingram or Kim Muller at 806-651-2345 for details on how and why to sponsor this event!
Fees & Cancellation Policy: REGISTER BY October 3rd FOR BEST AVAILABILITY and to qualify for the early bird discount
Registration fee is $100 per organization on or before 10/3 ($110 after 10/3) and includes a 6' table and 2 chairs in the hall along with lunch for one recruiter. Additional recruiters are $10 per person and each registrant can reserve an extra table for an additional $50 charge. Note that WTAMU does not provide tablecloths/covers or drapes of any kind, nor can we provide extension cords or power strips, etc.
CANCELLATIONS RECEIVED ON OR BEFORE October 3rd WILL BE REFUNDED LESS A $25 ADMINISTRATIVE FEE. SORRY, CANCELLATIONS AFTER 10/3/13 WILL NOT BE REFUNDED! Read our complete career fair policy.
