Sponsorship Opportunities

General Fair Information:

The Career EXPO allows employers from a wide range of industries to promote their opportunities and meet face-to-face with WTAMU students from a variety of backgrounds and majors. This general job and career fair attracts students of all classifications who are seeking employment as well as information about organizations. Thus the CAREER EXPO will provide you with an opportunity to get acquainted with many WTAMU students who will soon be entering the job market or seeking internships both part time and full time summer opportunities.

In addition, undergraduate students from West Texas A&M University are encouraged to attend in order to research careers and to establish early contacts with businesses. We feel that this is a mutually beneficial contact for both the company and the student and are pleased to offer this opportunity.

This event will allow WTAMU students a chance to learn more about your organization, your personnel needs, and the career paths you offer. Our faculty will be available for Employer/Faculty networking throughout the day.

While we are encouraging all students to attend both days of the EXPO,  Day ONE will feature employers who are targeting majors in the College of Agriculture and Natural Science as well as the School of Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematics while Day TWO will feature employers targeting majors in the College of Business; College of Nursing and Health Sciences; College of Fine Arts and Humanities; and the College of Education and Social Sciences (except teacher certification candidates.)

Reception Details:

This year we will host a single networking reception the evening prior to Day ONE of the EXPO to bring together employers, faculty and involved students. The reception is free to all company representatives! Sponsorships are available.

New this year!
Company open houses (for Career Services Partners and Pre-Fair Reception Sponsors) will be scheduled on campus for the evening between the job fair days - Wednesday, February 24, between 6:00 and 8:00 PM. This is an opportunity for your organization to present company information in a more informal setting to interested students. Presentation technology will be available if requested. Each organization is responsible for providing refreshments if desired. Note that depending on interest, an individual student may attend more than one open house during the evening, so we recommend structuring this as a come-and-go event, if possible. Once you have registered to be a sponsor, please contact our office and we will create your open house event in our system!
