College Assistance Migrant Program

CAMP is a federally funded program designed to help students from migrant and seasonal farm worker backgrounds succeed at WTAMU. Our program facilitates transition from high school to college and offers first-year support services to develop the skills necessary to persist and graduate from college. CAMP strives to be "a home away from home" for its students.
 
CAMP’s mission is to help students from migrant and seasonal farm worker backgrounds transform their lives by attaining a post-secondary education.
 
CAMP Provides

  • Early outreach and pre-admission services
  • Up to $4090 in financial assistance
  • Assistance with:
  • first year completion,
  • second year enrollment,
  • financial aid,
  • housing,
  • and other University services
  • Academic advising
  • Personal counseling
  • Tutors in basic skills and subject area courses
  • A home-like environment
