Leadership Board Leadership Board is a student organization that educates through programs, retreats and community outreach. To get involved, a student must have previous leadership experience at WTAMU, preferably with Emerging Leaders Institute (a program offered by Leadership Board), or another leadership program on campus. Interested students must submit a letter of interest along with three recommendation letters from faculty and/or staff, and a recommendation from a current Leadership Board member. ELI is an entry-level leadership education program that offers students the chance to study relational leadership while being mentored by Leadership Board members. The program also allows students to participate in Leadership Board programs under the direction of members. - Leadership Retreats:
 1. Quartz Mountain Fall Leadership Retreat is a multi-university invitational leadership retreat geared specifically for freshman and sophomores. This retreat introduces students to basic relational leadership techniques that can be applied while in college and beyond. 2. Sipapu Leadership Retreat is a long standing tradition at WTAMU. This retreat is designed to help existing student leaders, or those who would like to be leaders, improve their skills to enhance their organziations.
