Tiawna Cayton
Assistant Area Coordinator

Hometown: Keyes, Oklahoma

Education: Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, with a minor in Physics and Computer Science, in progress from West Texas A&M University (anticipated May 2013)

What I Love About WT: I love the atmosphere of a close community with friendly professors and students everywhere you go. It's an amazing feeling to walk across campus and know the people you see or seeing a smile from a friendly face that you don't know.

Why I'm Excited to be a Coordinator: I'm really excited to welcome new freshmen into the halls and help them fall in love with the campus I have already made my home, as well as welcoming back returning students and seeing a community grow and develop as they all come together.

Unit/Hall: Jarrett Units U/V

Hometown: El Paso, Texas

Major: Social Work

What I Love About WT: The kindness of the people and the influence of the “Bible Belt” in the culture.

Why I Love Living On Campus: Community is like night and day, if one is not...Jarrett Hall is my home!

Why I'm Excited to be an RA: My honest answer is because of who Christ is in my life and by Him who He is faithful in molding me to be.  This is my 4th year in Jarrett Hall.  I became an RA my 3rd and now 4th year and from these 4 years my heart to make a change...to “build men up” (like I have been “built up”); mentoring...to minister to people through my beliefs that influence my behavior; my actions fostered by Christ.  Jarrett Hall has been given negative titles in the time I’ve been here and so I feel that I am here to be a “light in the dark,” Amen.
