| Cali Diorio-Saye Resident Assistant Unit/Hall: Cousins Unit B Hometown: Fort Worth, Texas Major: Animal Science What I Love About WT: The atmosphere and feel of the campus...the air feels lighter in Canyon, the grass is greener, and the people are sweeter. The faculty and staff are always willing to answer questions and work with you when you have a problem; they really care about your education and making sure that you understand every concept. Why I Love Living On Campus: It is the best way to get connected to organizations, it helps you branch out and make new friends, and you have the chance to have a second family away from home. This is my final year at WT and I seriously would not change any of it for the world. I have made many wonderful friends, joined several great organizations, and Cousins Hall has become my second home. Why I'm Excited to be an RA: I am proud and excited to be a Resident Assistant because I get to see the incoming students grow and realize who they are and what they want to be. Yes, I create programs to break residents out of their shells...but when we become friends or I inspire them to be an RA, I feel as though I am a super hero and nothing can bring me down. |
