What I Love About WT: I love WT because it has an awesome small town feeling where everyone wants to know you and there are great opportunities for success.

Why I'm Excited to be a Coordinator: I am excited to be a Coordinator because I love Residential Living and want the students living in my hall to love it too. I want to have an awesome community where everyone likes being around each other and has a lot of fun in a home-feel environment.

Hometown: Lubbock, Texas

Major: Animal Science

What I Love About WT: I love WT because it's a small campus and the professors are very personable.

Why I Love Living On Campus: Living on campus is an experience that I wouldn't change because it has gotten me more involved with the campus and I feel like my school work gets done better than if I lived off campus.

Why I'm Excited to be an RA: It's my second year being an RA and I feel that it was one of my best decisions because it has given me different experiences that a lot of people don't go through, and I think that makes me a more personable person.

Kenzie Perryman
Resident Assistant

Unit/Hall: Cousins Unit D

Hometown: Seminole, Texas

Major: Animal Science (Pre-Vet)

What I Love About WT: I love WT because from the moment I stepped on campus I have felt like I belonged here! Everyone on campus has the most hospitable and welcoming spirit, even the professors and staff treat you as if you are family. I have been able to be involved with so many terrific organizations and people on campus and I don't think you can find this type of community anywhere else. Go Buffs!!!

Why I Love Living On Campus: Living on campus gives me the opportunity to build relationships and friendships with many types of people and to connect with them in ways I would never be able to if I were to live off campus. Living in a residence hall, especially Cousins, has become my home and if I had the opportunity to live off campus I would turn it down in a heartbeat because these girls are my family!

Why I'm Excited to be an RA: My previous RAs were some of the friendliest, kindest, most amazing people I have ever met and to have that opportunity to be that for someone else is one of the biggest blessings I have ever received. I am excited to build a community and family in my unit and to create bonds with each other that will last a lifetime.

Tia Hunt
Resident Assistant

Unit/Hall: Cousins Unit E/F

Hometown: Jasper, Texas

Major: Spanish

What I Love About WT: Coming from a small town, I love the size of the community. It has helped me to adjust to the new environment with a few similarities. At the same time, I love that it's close to the city. It's kind of the best of both worlds! I also love that I can talk to my professors on a personal level and each one knows my name by the end of the first week of school!

Why I Love Living On Campus: First, it's very convenient for getting to classes and you can walk to most events happening on campus! Also, if you forget a book for class, you don't have to drive all the way to Amarillo to get it! Second, I've gotten to build community and friendships with others who stay on campus.

Why I'm Excited to be an RA: I get to build relationships with so many great people and I get to inspire them, as well as be inspired!

Sarah "Breck" Pennington
Resident Assistant

Unit/Hall: Cousins Unit G/H

Hometown: Bangkok, Thailand

Major: Business Marketing

What I Love About WT: I love the size of WTAMU and that everywhere I go I run into people I know. Everyone is so friendly and there are so many opportunities to meet new people from all over. The things I have learned and the relationships I have made at WT are helping me grow and learn more about who I am and what my calling is in life.

Why I Love Living On Campus: I love living on campus because it has helped me get involved in all the different communities on campus. I believe that living on campus is a very important part of the college experience because it helps build relationships and it helps you learn more of who you are as you have more independence.

Why I'm Excited to be an RA: I love being an RA because I get to meet so many amazing residents and get to be creative and come up with ways for them to get involved. I love the relationships that come with being an RA and the opportunity to influence people's lives. My life has been changed by people who have invested in me and I hope to be that for someone else too.
