Haley Sparks
Resident Assistant

Unit/Hall: Buff Hall 2nd Floor

Hometown: Wheeler, Texas

Major: Spanish

What I Love About WT: I love how everybody is so welcoming and truly cares about how you're doing. West Texas gives off the vibe of a "small town feeling" in a university setting and I admire that so much!

Why I Love Living On Campus: It is close to everything and you get the full college experience! You see more people and can participate in more on-campus activities.

Why I'm Excited to be an RA: I'm excited to be an RA because it gives me the opportunity to be involved with students going to WT. I love meeting people and being an RA gives me the best opening to help new students get involved and feel comfortable their first year here. I would like them to want to continue to live on campus after this year.

Ty Whipple

Ty Whipple
Resident Assistant

Unit/Hall: Buff Hall 2nd Floor

Hometown: Guymon, Oklahoma

Major: Psychology

What I Love About WT: I just felt at home when I stepped on campus. It's so much more personal than some big D-1 school.

Why I Love Living On Campus: I get to see all my friends close by and be involved with all the programs in the residence halls.

Why I'm Excited to be an RA: I get to meet all these new residents, just how I was when I first moved here. I was there once and know exactly how they feel, so I can relate and help them with their first experience in college.
