The production is under the direction of Dr. Cloyce Kuhnert, artistic director and associate professor of voice, and Dr. Mark Bartley, conductor and assistant professor of music. Don Giovanni, an opera in two parts by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, is considered a timeless classic. It tells a story of love, infidelity, murder, spiritual intervention, retribution and justice. “This is probably the most challenging opera that we have produced in the past few years,” Kuhnert said. “It is the first time we will be performing in a foreign language with supertitles. I’m very proud of the work that these young people have put into the opera.” Cast members are listed by hometown, classification and opera role.
