I am WT. West Texas A&M University will officially kickoff its I Am WT campaign in August to give faculty and staff members a unique annual giving program that supports something near and dear to their hearts. Although the internal giving campaign hasn’t officially started yet, postcards featuring faculty and staff members touting the I Am WT theme have been distributed to help introduce the campaign to the campus community. Videos complementing the postcards are posted on the WTAMU website at wtamu.edu/iamwt, and campaign co-chairs Royal Brantley and Karl Kimsey are ready to kick the campaign into full gear. The I Am WT campaign offers faculty and staff members an opportunity to direct their gift to a specific area of their choice, whether it be a scholarship fund or a specific program, department or college. It’s a personalized element to the campaign that gives those on campus a chance to invest in what is important to them personally. It’s a way to give back to an institution that has given so much to its faculty, staff, students and community. Giving options include a one-time gift or a monthly gift, and payroll deduction is available. For more information, visit wtamu.edu/iamwt. |
