June 18-19—New Student Orientation (NSO) is a two-day event designed to introduce the University to incoming freshmen. The next NSO date for this month is June 25-26 with additional dates throughout the summer. For more information, visit wtamu.edu/admissions/new-student-orientation.aspx

June 27—The Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum will host “Saturday in the Park” from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, June 27 at Palo Duro Canyon. Families are invited to come hike, picnic and enjoy the beauty of Palo Duro Canyon. A barbecue lunch will be provided. —Two exhibits will open at the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum—“Will James: The Hays Collection” will run through Sept. 20 in the Foran Gallery and “Panhandle Plains Players: Athletics on the Golden Spread” will run through Oct. 11. June 29—West Texas A&M University and the Comprehensive Breast Center of the Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Center will conduct a breast cancer screening clinic from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Bivins Nursing Learning Center on Russell Long Boulevard.
