Special Collections

Special Collections, on the second floor of the Library, houses rare books, manuscripts, and other artifacts of local and regional significance as well as the University Archives.

The Special Collections area is further divided into many smaller collections:

• Frank M. Blackburn Room
• Rare Books collection
• Sheffy collection - books about the history of the West
• Texas collection - books on Texas history
• Loula Grace Erdman collection - award-winning local author
