Citation Basics : Turabian/Chicago
Below are examples of bibliography and reference list entries for the most commonly cited kinds of resources using the Chicago/Turabian notes-bibliography style and author-date style. You also need to cite your sources in the body of your paper--with footnotes or endnotes for the bibliography style or with in-text parenthetical references for the author-date style.
We also have a Citation Basics page for APA and MLA styles, and our Recommended Web Sites: Citing Sources page links to web sites with more detailed citation information and other citation styles.
ALWAYS check with your instructor if you have questions about citation or other format issues.
