Blackwell Reference Online
This trial from Blackwell Reference Online provides access to several hundred current, well researched reference works in the humanities and social sciences. Articles are written by experts in the field, and contain extensive citations. Each volume also has suggestions for related volumes.
You may search by keyword, browse by subject, or browse the contents of specific volumes. Subject Areas coverend include:

Play Index
Over 31,000 plays are indexed and abstracted in the Play Index database from EBSCO. It includes plays from 1949 to the present, published both individually and in collections. Search features include a limiter for cast size, as well as a wide variety of subject terms.
Citations includes descriptive annotations summarizing the plot, indicating any musical requirements (chorus, singing, dancing etc.), and indicating numbers of sets and whether scenery requirements are interior or exterior; as well as full publication details to help find the play itself.

Access World News Research Collection
Current newspapers, magazines, radio and television broadcast transcripts, and blogs are included in Access World News Research Collection. Both the Amarillo Globe News and the Dallas Morning News are included in this database. Full-text of the articles are returned in web-page format, and articles can be collected in a folder, emailed, and printed.

Results can be sorted from newest to oldest, oldest to newest, or "best fit" Date restrictions can be pre-formatted or custom. The pre-formatted choices include yesterday or today, past 7 days, past 30 days, past 6 months, past 5 years, and before or after an entered date.

Global Road Warrior provides easy access to detailed information about 175 countries around the world. Each country profile has standard entries for:
