| Additional Search Tips |
Searching can be quirky. Be sure to click on the blue link New Search.. every time you do a new search. If you are trying multiple searches and keep getting 0 hits-exit the database completely and begin again. Put phrases in quotation marks. Search function supports Boolean AND, OR, and NOT. Also supports ADJ(x) which finds terms that are within x words of each other and in the same order. Also supports NEAR(x) which finds terms that are within x words of each other and in any order. Text scanning sees the old long s as an f, so in words with an s, substitute the wildcard character ?. |
