Description The electronic version of the Chicago Manual of Style includes both the 15th and 16th editions of the manual, as well as the popular Q&A feature. From the initial screen, select The Chicago Manual of Style; then you may either enter a key term in the search box at the upper right or click a section in the Table of Contents listing. The default entry is for the 16th edition. On a results list, the left navigation also includes a link to the full Table of Contents. Within any given paragraph of text, there are navigation arrows to the previous and following text sections. A List of Figures, List of Tables, and the index are also linked on the left.

Special Features Please note. Chapter 14 includes the Notes-Bibliography reference structure used in History, and Chapter 15 demonstrates the Author-Date reference style used in some of the Criminal Justice classes. The other chapters cover general formatting and usage questions which apply to papers using both citation styles. The general usage notes cover items such as punctuation, spelling, word choice, numbers, foreign language expressions and more. The Chicago-Style Citation Quick Guide is an excellent quick reference for various source types, for either the notes or the author-date style.
