Multi-volume set with basic concepts and public policy. Index in last volume. Cornette Library also has the 1997 supplement. Earlier editions are shelved in the loan collection.
Encyclopedia of Sociology

Multi-volume set, with description of basic concepts. Index in last volume. Cornette Library has both the 2000 and the 1992 edition.
Handbook of Family Measurement Techniques
