What do you like most about working in the Cornette Library? The Cornette Library is a great place to work -- wonderful people, beautiful place, and an always interesting, very rewarding job!

What is your favorite book(s)/author? For me, a quick dip in reading is splashing into youth books like A Series of Unfortunate Events, American Girl series, and Fractured Fairy Tales. Completely drowning in reading is immersion in J.K. Rowling, Ellen Hopkins, or Frances Hodgson Burnett books.

What is your favorite local attraction? Camping in Caprock Canyons State Park is my family favorite because it is beautiful like Palo Duro Canyon but the camping areas are not as congested. It feels like getting away without having the long car drive.

Rules to live by: Always carry Love in your heart. Without love, there is no hope, faith, peace, or joy. Especially when life hurts, remember that the greatest is Love, and it will carry you through anything.

You might be surprised to know that: I was the only girl in my high school weightlifting and shop classes who also was a member of Future Homemakers of America. I spent some days working a welding torch or wood saw and other days sewing blouses and crocheting granny squares - all in high heels!
